MC_Home is not completing with non zero Position input

I am running MC_Home command.  If the Position input is 0.0 then the command runs and completes correctly.  If the Position is non zero then the command goes into error.  I am using motion app 1.12.  We are using drives with MPB20 firmware.

I see the same problem also. Here are the error codes from MC_Home and ctrlX diagnostics. I could not find anything in the online help about these codes. We can tell that 0 is succesfully being written to S-0-0052 when 0 is the value for Position. However, as Craig mentioned, any other value causes a severe error.

with the search function I also did not find the error code 090F2040, but with a look at the error codes of ctrlX MOTION "09" I found also 090F2040.

The solution was that the Position input of MC_Home must within the range of the software travel limits (S-0-0049, S-0-0050), even if software travel limits are not enabled.
