Dear Community Members,

We would like to inform you that a platform change for our community will take place in the coming weeks. This change is necessary to improve the performance and user-friendliness of our platform and to ensure that we can continue to offer you an optimal user experience in the future.

We are pleased to announce that the scope of the new community platform is being expanded to include Factory Automation products. The business areas Linear Motion Technology, Assembly Technology and Joint Solution will provide product support in the new community and offer cross-functional application solutions for our customers.

As part of the migration process, your user accounts and data will also be migrated to the new platform. This means that your existing user accounts, posts, messages and other data will be transferred for a seamlessly access to the new platform. 

Migration roadmap

• Time period of data freeze will be announced in the next days. During the data freeze the ctrlX AUTOMATION Community will be available in READ ONLY mode.
• Mid of December Go Live of the new platform with focus on ctrlX AUTOMATION product portfolio. Forum functions available. Basic functions available in ctrlX Store. 
• Enable advanced functions by end of first quarter of 2025. First optimization based on user feedback. 
• Starting with the new application catalogue and partner network second quarter of 2025. 
• The new Factory Automation Community will be available at the URL: community.boschrexroth.com. All existing links will be redirected.

We would like to point out that during the transition the existing ctrlX AUTOMATION Community will be available in READ ONLY mode and will be shut down after a successful migration. However, we will do everything to keep this process as short as possible.

We thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition period. We are confident that the platform change and data migration will help improve the community experience for you in the future.
