Hello dear folks, I would like just to check if any of you has used the CtrlX-Core for Flying-Shear applications and roll-formers (using torque control). We have a customer that has been using our XM22 for his machines, but now, he wants a better performance but somthing cheaper than XM42. Is it possible to connect the measuring wheel encoder on the CtrlX-Drive's second port, and then map it as a kind of Encoder-Axis in the CtrlX-Core ? Is it achievable with SoftMotion function blocks? Is there any SoftMotion limitation? Is it possible to get motion cycle times faster than 2ms? Is it possible to use Torque/Force Control with the CtrlX-Core and the CtrlX-Drives? Let me know if we have to stick with MLC for now or we could start testing with CtrlX-Core platforms.
