SIL3 and Simulation availability for Safex C12/C15

Hello dear ones,

Hope you all are doing great.

Just would like to confirm if the Safemotion SIL3+ Package is already available. As far as I could tell, it was NOT available on the SOS platform (only the Speed and Position packages were available there).

Another question that I have at this moment is when the Simulation will be available by using the CtrlX Safety Virtual ?

the SIL3+ Package is not yet available. According to my information, it can be expected in early 2024. Further details from @Drives_Uwe or product management contacts, that you certainly have from your organization. 😉

ctrlX SAFETYvirtual is not ready for development. A prototype has been shown to us, but we do not have it in our hands. Our TODO list has a number of pressing elements that have to be completed before. There is no decision for the roadmap of this feature, although we know of its benefit.

• Main focus for the GUI-based variant is virtual commissioning.
• The non-GUI engine provides additional services in terms of supported safety validation.

We have a number of requests with different motivation. If you have a use case which is a very interesting business case, then do not hesitate and get in touch with your local product management or with the business unit and let's discuss it.
