Yes, for ctrlX DRIVE a digital/analog extension option is also planned!

Hello,

I received the following question: Will it be possible to have both the onboard Drive I/O (DA option) as well as STO once available on the ctrlX DRIVE?

I beleive the answer is "Yes" since STO is always on board and is not an option that can be removed. I do not see how we could get the DA option without STO but would like confirmaton that this is correct.

Yes, your assumption is correct. The extended I/O interface is available both for ctrlX DRIVE equipped either with Safe Torque OFF (STO) or Safe Motion (SMO).

Mind as well that from April 2021 on this extended I/O interface is available for first customers prior to release of particular customers from product management.

what´s the exactly amount and specification of DA  dig. and analogue IN/Outputs? is it the same than DA at Indradrive before?

The DA option incorporates:

- 3 analog Inputs
- 2 analog Outputs

- 8 digital Inputs and Outputs (each 2 of those can be re-parameterized as Outputs/Inputs)
