Communication between ctrlX core's

What possibilities are there, for communication between two ctrlX cores (C2C)? Is this just OPC UA, or is there e.g. a possibility for a shared data layer, where core 1 can directly read/write a variable on core 2?

Hello Yvonne

There are several ways for a control - control communication.

• Ethercat - currently the only RT communication way. (Slave available with the version 1.14  (RM22.03))
• OPC UA (PubSub) - NRT still available, in the future the base of the RT-C2C
• Datalayer connection via remote device - NRT and (as far I have in mind very slow)
• PLC data exchange via
  • socket communication
  • CODESYS net variables

Recommendation:Use OPC UA
