@PW693 ; @phweis93  First results (investigation still ongoing) The problem seems to be the big size of the backup file (>1GB) and not the backup/restore function itself.  Please make following test. Create two backups backup only with the apps backup with all the rest (without the apps). Restore one by one. It will be nice if you can give me a feedback if this (bad) workaround works. @PW693  I make a quick test with my ctlX CORE X3 with version 2.6.2. -> no problem occur. Procedure was Backup (several Apps like Ethercat, Motion, PLC, ...) Restore the same File Maybe you can provide me your backupfile so I can test your configuration. (Best way would be a privat message to me.) some additional questions: Was backup file done with the same version (2.6.2) or was created with an older version? Was the same Backup file used for different HW? (Keep in mind that the X3 has a different architecture than an X7.)
