You cannot install multiple versions in parallel because WebIQ runs on an HTTP port (default 10123) and you cannot run multiple applications on the same port because then - which application should handle the request? This is why WebIQ 2.16 EA runs on port 30123 to not cause any conflicts. As I wrote before the .db directory resides on the server, not in the workspace. And this is missing from the project. What you can do is create a new project with the same directory name, publish it and copy this ZIP file contents over it. This should at least give you a somewhat working HMI project, but all of the recorder data, variables, structures, alarm definitions etc. will be gone so it will probably not help.   ... View more

Looking at your post again I'm not quite sure anymore what you did: "We have a project, where accidentaly a Webiq project was removed from ctrlx, and no project-export file is availabe. Is it possible to somehow restore the entire project from the %appdata% workspace folder?" If you load a project into WebIQ Designer it will be loaded into %APPDATA%\webiq-designer\workspace excluding the databases which will be loaded into the corresponding project workspace (on ctrlX). Just pointing out that "app data" is not %APPDATA% to avoid confusion. %APPDATA% is a Windows directory bound to the user profile (Windows roaming application data). It is used by WebIQ Designer for packages and the currently loaded HMI in WebIQ Designer (%APPDATA%\webiq-designer). "app data" on ctrlX is the local project directory analog to %PROGRAMDATA%\WebIQ on a Windows system which is the directory you are talking about obviously. ... View more
