Hello, CODESYS provides the PLC Handler, that allows encrypted communication. If the HMI supports CODESYS protocol, it must be based on the PLC Handler. So you should contact the HMI provider to use a PLC Handler that allows encrypted communication. I suggest, currently he is using an older version of the PLC Handler that did not allow encrypted communication. kind regards

Hi, ctrlX CORE devices only allow encrypted PLC communication. So there's no need to show this setting. User may wonder how to disable this according to other CODESYS targets. Hope this helps!

Hi Open, this message shows, tht the Device description for the simulation device is not available. This can be based on some installation failures or the missing file in your installation. Are there any other failures shown while using ctrlX PLC Engineering? You can zip the installation Log files (see path C:\ProgramData\Rexroth\PackageManager\Logs) and attach them here to have a look on it. Have you downloaded the installation from our collaboration room? In any case I recommend to you to download the recent version 1.20.5 and install it and try it again. If this is not possible, please give us feedback!

Hello Brant, what uis the problem? Are there missing commands or are there any error message windows? If there are only missing commands, you should try to reset the settings by Tools -> Customize pressing the Reset button.
