Hi,

ctrlX CORE devices only allow encrypted PLC communication. So there's no need to show this setting. User may wonder how to disable this according to other CODESYS targets.

This is because I need to communicate with a third-party HMI for tag communication. If the encryption is not cancelled, communication cannot be achieved. The HMI supports tag communication using the Codesys protocol.

CODESYS provides the PLC Handler, that allows encrypted communication. If the HMI supports CODESYS protocol, it must be based on the PLC Handler. So you should contact the HMI provider to use a PLC Handler that allows encrypted communication. I suggest, currently he is using an older version of the PLC Handler that did not allow encrypted communication.
