For MKE in ATEX-version the OEM has to choose the cable glands and suitable cable on his own, depending on the specs for the application and/or machine and the local regulations on the site of operation. Since the cable gland is an individual ATEX device with own certification and specs, one would usually choose this part first and then define a suitable cable, probably with the help of the cable gland manufacturer. Choosing both components is responsibility of the OEM. Bosch Rexroth Sales can provide some basic product information and hints on the issue, but BR cannot approve or testify, which cable is suitable for whatever cable gland and the specs of the application. As of today ctrlX DRIVE and MKE can only be used with an external ATEX-certified PTC switching device, but such switches are not in the BR scope of delivery.
