Hi,
I'm trying to generate a variables configuration as explained in codesys help for variable with incomplete address.https://help.codesys.com/api-content/2/codesys/3.5.12.0/en/_cds_variables_configuration/#id1 .
But when I click on Declarations > Add all instance paths (Step 6), I get the error
When I try to compile the program now I get the error that there is no VAR_CONFIG for the variables with incomplete address.
I seems to be a chicken-and-egg situation.
I have many function blocks with variables with incomplete adresses, has somebody an idea how to generate the variables configuration?

Hello
Problem: per default we can't make a "build" only anmore. and with the "generate code" we run into the descriped problem.
Workaround: Add the "build" only button to the menue again.
- open customize dialog unter Tools
- open Build tree and select an empty node
- press "Add Command"
- Select Build
- press Ok
After this the build only button is available again and the descriped procedure works.
