Hello colleagues,
concerning the control voltage power consumption at ctrlX DRIVE a customer wants to know the difference between the "Options" and "External/customer-specific" . Customer has approx. 30 axes and therefore approx 90 Amperes and wants calculate as good as possible. The option EC is in both columns: Does the left (Options) column means with an encoder of our motor ? The right column is understandable: Depending on the encoder he uses at the EC he needs more or less Watts.
The T0 / M5 function: Does the left column ("Option") mean if he uses the onboard dynamization with passive safety unit? And at column "External" ?? With OSSD or what ??????

Does the left (Options) column means with an encoder of our motor? --> No, the power consumption for the EC interface mentioned here means the basic power needed for the printed circuit board (PCB) itself (with no encoder attached).
The power consumption of the encoder itself needs to be added depending of the encoder and where attached (if onboard (at XG20) or at EC interface).
The T0 / M5 function: Does the left column ("Option") mean if he uses the onboard dynamization with passive safety unit? --> No, the power consumption for the T0 / M5 option mentioned here means the basic power needed for the printed circuit board (PCB) itself. And at column "External" ?? With OSSD or what ?????? -->This is the power consumption for the OSSD input at T0 / M5 if the onboard dynamization is used.
