I have an application for a large number of small axes (280 total). Motors are MS2N03-D0BYN. Maximum torque at standstill is 0.72Nm. Power while moving is only 100 Watts each.

The preferred combination would be Qty 8. XMD 6/6 powered by Qty 1. XCD 23/23 for a total of 18 axes.

The combination as you want to configure would function. See attached IndraSize file. You could even go to 24 axes at 1x XCD.
