Hello,
Our customer Messer is experiencing E2061 on XMS2-W0006 with the motor enabled but no load. The motor is cool, and the reported current/torque is minimal but yet P-0-0141 shows values of about 78%. Our distributor colleague who supports Messer sees this kind of behavior in the lab also. He has nothing connected to the motor and put the drive in AF using Easy Startup Mode. Instantly P-0-0141 was >60% and climbed into the 70% range. Running the motor at 100 RPM causes it to reduce slightly.
On my demo XMS-W0023 I see about 31% with drive enabled at standstill. On my HCS02.1E-W0012 in inverter mode I see about 23%. So maybe the 31% on XMS-W0023 is reasonable. I should mention that my demos are running with a low DC bus, whereas the customer and distributor are using 480VAC supply with 680V DC Bus. But how to explain such high load reported on XMS-W0006? Could it be that there is wrong calibration of P-0-0141 calculation?

The reasons behind are 2 things:
1. The settings for thermal monitoring of drive could be increased to a higher value in order to avoid the E2061 warning.
2. At standstill and thus operating at low output frequency (< 3Hz) the amplifier is capable of only providing approximately half the nominal current. In here, this would mean only 1,0 A instead of 2,0 A nominal. Therefor the warning E2061 is more quickly showing up.

Hi Uwe,
I expect standstill (or <3Hz) is worse, but how can we explain that we get such high thermal load reported in P-0-0141 when the motor has nothing working against it and the current-related parameters (P-0-0440, P-0-0043, etc.) are reporting nearly 0.00 A?
