Hello,
After milling tests it turned out that the surface (in one axis direction) is not of good quality. I made a trace which in my opinion shows that the cause is the backlash. (img1.png)
Unfortunately after adding compensation in the axis drive, (img2.png) I do not see a difference in the values on trace (img3.png). Is the correction given in such a short time that it is not recorded on the trace? Or is the function not working for some reason?
Thanks for any advice.
Best regards,
Piotr

Hallo,
Please Check the parameter value setting......
Bit#0 shall be 0 & Bit#1 = 1.
S-0-0124, Standstill window = Standstill value band shall be as low as possible.
thank you.

Thanks for the response! Good think, but P-0-0413 is set already like this:
In zip I attached in first post you can find .par file. I determined the standstill window based on the velocity graph below.

Here you are. 👍

For this problem normally the quadrant error compensation is used (as well part of the productivity package). Do you only see problems on the surface at change of direction? Or as well during steady speed --> this may result as well from torque ripple of the motor)?

Hello Uwe,
Thanks for trying to help. I will add quadrant compensation and I will share results. But still is the question why backlash compensation doesn’t work?
