continue anyway. This is mainly done by an companies IT department.
The warning is triggered because the communication to a ctrlX OS in general encrypted via SSL and a certificate is used to identify the encrypting authority. As these certificates are related to an IP address, Rexroth cannot make sure that all possible used ones are also safe devices. So an self signed certificate is used.
It seem that the privacy and security setting is global more restricted then in standard browser settings. As in standard the browser would allow to accept self signed certificates. If this cannot be changed in the customers IT settings a- fitting certificate needs to be installed on the ctrlX OS and Engineering PC. See "How to make an HTTPS connection with ctrlX OS Web Server" for further information.

Sorry this tiem I am afraid I disagree with the @CodeShepherd
The normal error for a self signed certificate is cert_authority_invalid
Indeed indicating your browser is not able to authenticatethe certificate of teh ctrlX core and therefore assumes it is not trusted.
In this case there is an advance button to bypass this check
Your message says "certificate_invalid" so it really seems to be corupted.
You can go to settings => certificates & keys => webserver
and simply delete both certificates. Reboot your core and they get recreated. Try again
