Usecase:
Did you know that ctrlX OS enables remote access and remote management for your machines? Actually it is available on ctrlX CORE devices such as the CORE X3, CORE X5, and CORE X7. This functionality can be achieved using legacy tools or applications available in the ctrlX WORLD. However, what distinguishes remote access from remote management? continue to read! The image below illustrates the system layout applicable to both scenarios.
Remote Access: the ability to access and control a computer or other electronic device from a remote location. This capability enables quick troubleshooting, adjustments, and updates, ultimately reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
Remote Management: the possibility controlling and maintaining devices from a distance, including tasks like troubleshooting, updates, and asset tracking, often without user interaction. The ctrlX Device Portal is our legacy solution for Remote Management and Remote Access (coming soon).
With ctrlX OS you can:
- Remotely manage your ctrlX OS devices through the ctrlX Device Portal and perform mass deployments of your software.
- Use other applications from the ctrlX World to perform full functional remote access to your device and anything in its network.
- Enjoy seamless monitoring, control, and troubleshooting of your devices and network from anywhere, at any time.
