Hello, I have a ctrlx Core PLC and a global variable table for persistant data/variables. I added "a lot" of variables to it that I have to save and now I get an error message C0415, that there is not enough space for my persistant data. It seems, for now, I use 34200 Byte. But what is "too much"? Is there a documentation, how many bytes I can save persistantly? Also the error message mentiones a "feature" to compact the data. But I can't find the menue for that in my PLC Engineering. I find it in Tools->Adjust but I don't know how to make it visible to "click" on it!? If some could give me some information would be appreciated! I attached my error message (sorry, I work in German ;))

Ok, little update for that: I found out, that the C15 file is "hidden" in the collaboration room. https://www.boschrexroth.com/de/de/myrexroth/collaboration/collaboration-rooms/?path=%2FCtrlx-Automation%2FctrlX_SAFETY&page=1&search= I think I stopped reading when I got to the "FPGA" part in the folder "Runtime_Firmware". But you find the configuration files there. Personally, I would have searched for that in "Engineering"! For the drives ... I admit, I'm confused. I wrote the official support and they wanted to know what error message I get. So I tried to install it again and ... it worked! Not sure what my PC did wrong before! So, I'm fine for now! I'm also having troubles with ESI files...
The linked package does not include the SAFEX-C.15 Moduls and I can't find them anywhere! Could someone provide a link to get those?
Also I have a Frequency Converter (R912007274) with a Multi Ethernet Protocall card (R912006134). I found the - supposed - ESI file: https://www.boschrexroth.com/de/de/media-details/566581cd-0032-4eee-bb1b-4cffb9ce6606 But when I try to add the ESI file to my I/O repository it says, that the file is corrupt! Could anyone check if that problem is on my side or the file is actually broken?

Hello, sorry to drag this old topic out of the dirt: I'm currently trying to configure my I/O engineering and I have a Safex-C.15 controller. And it is not in my parts list to select. It is mentioned here, that it is not part of the normal ctrlX Works installation. But the provided links, where you could download an ESI-file, are not working anymore. And I don't find alternatives. Could anyone provide me with a link, where I can get the ESI-File for SafeX-C15? Thanks in advance!

Thanks! That helps and I know what to do now! Two things about that: Interestingly you don't have to mark your variables with "AT %I*". It is not working when you do that! That is confusing for me 🙂 Also I have a ctrX Core next to me, so I can "download" the configuration from there. But there is an option to do it "offline from file". Maybe could be relevant in the future... Can I create that file from I/O engineering? There is an "PLCopenXML export" but that doesn't seem to be it (PLC engineering says "wrong format") or I mark down the wrong structures. Any hints for that?
