I think what they mean is that you cant connect with ctrlX Drive Engineering and two snap's as that would make up three connections. And also, it would mean that if you use both EAL connections in the snaps it wont be possible to connect to the drive with ctlrX Drive Engineering.

The error handling in RIL_CommonTypes seems changed; This would probably be very easy to fix with the library source, but with the compiled one it might not be possible.

In the MLC we have the RMB_PLCopenEtherCAT_SoE function blocks for controlling PLC axes over EtherCat. Is there any plans for making this avaiable in ctlX It's possible to import the library but it requires the old RIL_Commontypes that is not possible to insert in the library manager;
