This message can appear when the e serial number of the ctrlX core, does match that of the device in the license manager for which the license file was created. The downloaded capability response has a format of SN.bin. Could you check, if the serial number of your ctrlX core matches this number? The SN can be found via the webinterface of the ctrlX core in --> settings --> Information. (If the licensing center is opened directly from the web interface of the ctrlX core, you end up in the overview of the ctrlX core you are connected with. You can then dowload the license file for your device)

Hi Tuomas, Is the security policy that the client is requesting enabled in the OPC UA server settings on the ctrlX core? And did you synchronize the time/date of the two devices?

It turns out that this OPC UA client is able to succesfully establish an OPC UA connection to the server in the ctrlX core, but it does not accept the '/' character in the address for a nodeId. It is not possible to use excape characters for the client, or to change the nodeId address structure separator ('/') for the ctrlX core. Therefore, it's currently only possible to connect to variables in the root folder of the ctlrX core. We will look into the possibilities for an ajustment of the OPC client, or a way to make the data available in the root folder of the ctrlX core.

I'm trying to connect with an OPC UA client to the ctrlX core (V1.16). The client can succesfully connect to the core, but this OPC UA client does not support a '/' sign in the node ID of variables. Is there a way to create a reference to a datalayer variable that separates the path with a different sign, e.g. a dot instead of a / sign? The OPC UA connection seems to be configured correctly on the side of the ctrlX core, it is possible to connect and read/write variables with an UA test client. (this OPC UA client is able to connect with an XM21, there the node Id seems to be separated by a . )

Hi, I could not find a clear cause of the error in the script file/log book/... - in the end I did a new installation of the core (back to factory settings and re-install all apps), this seems to have solved the issue. Thanks for your support!
