when the EtherCAT communication drops, because of a reboot of the ctrlX CORE or a cable break, some EC devices will change the state to Safe-OP and need a command / trigger to switch back to OP. This can happen e.g. with any Analog EC device or a EC drive as well. Does it happen in your system when everything was PowerOff and is switched on or just the ctrlX CORE. Which version of ctrlX CORE and EtherCAT App are you using?
