Another interesting solution for "STO customers" could be the encoderless parameterization of the ctrlX DRIVE SafeMotion. With this solution, the STO function is selected via a safe communication (SAFETY link or safe fieldbus (e.g. FSoE)) at the M5 hardware option inside the ctrlX DRIVE. The M5 hardware option has already included the "SafeMotion Speed" function package inside, so no additional costs for the SafeMotion "Speed" function package are payable!
