Hi Archer, great that you got the connection to the physical device running. Some hint regarding the connection to the ctrlX CORE virtual : There are two ways to run your control. Network adapter: ip: 192.168.1.1 -> connection settings for Data Layer Client like with the physical ctrlX CORE Port forwarding: ip: 127.0.0.1:8443 -> ip: 10.0.2.2 and sslPort: 8443 Best regards, Nick

@CodeShepherd is right, it depends on where the Data Layer (respectively the ctrlX CORE) is you want to connect to. The connection settings in the .Net sample datalayer.client can be modified in the line 49 (see my screenshot). Please put in here the ip, the user and password of the ctrlX CORE you want to connect to. (If you want to connect to a ctrlX CORE virtual, which is running on your host with port forwarding you have to put in the ip: "10.0.2.2" and the sslPort: 8443) Best regards, Nick

Hi Jaakko Ala-Paavola, thanks for reporting the issue. I just saw that the scripts got removed from v1.16 to v1.18. I'm going to investigate why this happened. And I will let you know, if I got any news for you. In the meanwhile, you could think about using your ubuntu host environment as your development environment directly. Some information on how to do that can also be found in the sdk documentation. Best regards, Nick

I would recommend to switch to the newest release. Since the version 1.18 of ctrlX WORKS, we provide a workaround for this problem. See the new error-message: The workaround is to download the SDK form the link @CodeShepherd already shared. Please download the full repository (marked red in my screenshot). Then copy it to the home directory of your build environment and restart the script. Best regards, Nick

Hi, congrats on porting your app to the ctrlX CORE. 🚀 Yes, you got it right! You can: Use the REST-API of the Data Layer Use the OPC UA server app And if it would exist, you could use a Ruby client for the Data Layer. But currently we only have C/C++, Go, Python, .Net, Node.js. At the moment, we don't have any plans for Ruby in our SDK. Best regards, Nick
