Hi all,
So I'm using A COREX-C-X3-11-ANNN-21.01-01RS-NN-NN (X3_System_Apps_RM 23.07.1) device with the PLC application in version PLC PLC-V-0202.0
I noticed I needed to update my CtlrX Works to version 1.20.5 in order to be able to communicate with the PLC, in all other versions I got odd licensing problems (which possibly are releated to the new name of the license for the PLC runtime).
So I tried deploying my existing program and the IDE updated the settings to the new version.
However as soon as I try connecting and deploying the application, I get a popup saying "Erzeugen der Bootapplikation fehlgeschlagen" (Error creating bootapplication)
and from then on I see a red flashing "Programm geladen: AUSNAHMEFEHLER" at the bottom.
In the PLC log I can see this:
On the Ctlx Core itself the UI tells me it's happy with the licenses ...
Admittedly I'm a bit lost now 😞
Chris

Could you please confirm you are using ctrlX WORKS 2.02.1 (not 1.20.5) including ctrlX PLC Engineering 2.2.0? If not please use software and apps from at least the same major version.

Ok ... I was looking for the newest version and found 1.20.5 ... could you please share a link where I can get 2.02.1 or newer?

1.20.5 is the latest long term service version that is available in the store. So it is totally fine and I suggest to use this version. But like mentioned above, keep your system consistent. So all apps and engineering tools from the same major version 1.x or 2x. Do not mix them up.
You wrote you are already using ctrlX PLC app in version 2.02. Where did you get this from? All early adopter versions can be found in our collaboration room but needs extended access. See "FAQ for ctrlX Store".

Hi,
well I had updated my PLC to 2.2 so I could no-longer work with CtrlX WORKS 1.20.5, but in the end I finally found where to find it (In the "apps" section and not where I would have expected it: "in the base in paralell to CtlX CORE")
Problem solved.
