Hello,
I'm trying to create a PLC project with a X3 Core and XB-EC-12 Ethercat bus coupler. After having create the right configuration, I'm trying to download it to the X3 Core. I don't have error but when the download process is started, I'm receiving a popup which say that I don't have the correct License.
I have installed the system image 2.6.4 and also I'm working with the last version 2.6.4 of ctrlX Works en PLC. My licenses Basic + Advanced are normally ok. Any ideas what's wrong ?
Thanks in advance,
Fred

Firstly, make sure, that date and time is correct on your CORE, please. If not, set it correctly.

CoDeSys change the licenses with ctrlX 2.x. The licenses you have installed are from ctrlX 1.x. Contact your sales guy, to find out how to change to the new licenes. That is the reason why the system says, that the app is not installed.
See ctrlX AUTOMATION - PLC for further information.

I have set the time and load the licenses again. It seems that was the problem, but that's strange that this is a problem for a License. Not really logical...
Thanks for your help.

Hello, my Licenses were correct (see in attached): I had upgrade license from 1.x to 2.x.
Thanks for your help.

To try to clarify some confusion: As there are licenses that are time based, each license file has an date from when to when it is valid.
So if a license file is created on e.g. on 19.11.2024 it will be valid from that date on. If the control time set to default 1.1.1970 (Unix time) it is not jet valid so licenses cannot be used.
