Holding Brake Release

HI, I am looking for some guidance on how I can release the Holding brake on a motor connected to the CtrlX drive that is being controlled by a Ctrlx Core. I am using the PLC Open library for motion control, however there is no Function block in the library that deals with releasing the holding brake. Is there another library that this would exist in or is this a FB i would need to create myself. 

P.S. I do not have SBC on these drives, so I am looking for a method that does not involve SBC.

One way would be to use SoE function blocks for starting function "C2000 Command Release brake" via P-0-0542 (see documentation) and "C3800 Command Apply brake" P-0-0543 (see documentation). See also how to "Ethercat Soe: read and write ctrlX DRIVE and IndraDrive S and P parameters".
