How to test if my TCP client is working?
Are there tools to host TCP server on my engineering PC and try sending a string from my ctrlX to my TCP server hosted on my engineering PC?

I created some examples for communication via TCP between ctrlX CORE and ctrlX COREvirtual. See "Communicate between a ctrlX COREvirtual and other applications [DOCU]". There I am using Node-RED but PLC works in a similar way.
Which function blocks exactly are you using in your example? Normally you have a TCP server on one side permanently running and a client connected to it waiting for getting data.

Hi CodeShepherd,
I am using IL_TCPConnectionAsync function block library.
Thank you for your tip we tried setting up TCP communication in Node-red, connection is established however when we attempt to send a string it did not send to the device and no feedback from the device.
We solved it by using Telnet communication in Node-red. It is unsure why it is behaving this way.

Good morning, not if this is what you are commenting on. I pass you a document on communications in general and another on communication between XM and ctrlX Core in NodeRed using the IL_TCPCyclic module
