Max Number of I/O connected to a CORE

I had this question come up in relation to logistics. What would be the maximum number of I/O we could connect to a single control Unit? For the application in question we were talking about 10'000 + I/O on a single unit.

Is this possible?

Hello,
the max. number is described in the documentation. This depends on the hardware used.
