Please install the device description file (*.xml) from the 3rd-party supplier:

Hello,
thank you for the prompt reply.
After installing the EtherCAT slave information xml file (According to EtherCATInfo.xsd from https://www.ethercat.org/en/downloads/downloads_6A46D45EA33C47ECB2BB2686BBA963EC.htm) from the third-party supplier, the same error still occurs.
The already installed devices have an additional devdesc.xml file in the repository, which is not known to the third-party supplier as a specified file for EtherCAT communication configuration.
Is this file required by the ctrlX for EtherCAT configuration of a slave device? And if so, how can it be generated?
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards,
Beck

Hello,
indeed it was an issue of the 3rd party not supplying the correct xml.
