We are used that if you are online with a Drive the Drive Engineering software is very user friendly.
With ctrlX Engineering some very nice features are missing. When using 01V22, if you click on a Fxxxx Messages in the diagnoses, or on a parameter help, then you are linked to a online web page. The advantage is that you have the latest information present. But if you are in the Field and not online you will get "page cannot be reached" and you have to find the information yourself by navigating the Help documentation. This is time consuming.
Will the user friendly help function as we know it be implemented in future versions ?
They are installed and present.
If downloading the current ctrlX DRIVE help:
and installing this you get a "Short cut" entry to your desktop of this then so called "Rexroth ctrlX Offline Help":
If you then go inside ctrlX DRIVE Engineering to "Options"
you can mark that this "Rexroth ctrlX Offline Help" is used
Then no longer the online version requiring Internet connection is used but this offline version if clicking on "ctrlX DRIVE" or the "Help" button.
