Hi everybody,
Since I started using Indradrive compact driver modules (HCS01) I could always write parameter P-0-4028 to enable drive in test and comissioning stages using the parameter editor window without no problem.
I am trying to do exactly this with a XCS2-W0023ARN-01AETT0ECNN-S0316NNTE1P0NN (FIRMWARE:FWA-XD1-AXS-V-0316N-NN-00) and an error message appears saying (operating data cannot be changed). Of coure it is not assigned to any input/output configuration.
I could bet I am doing a silly mistake but could someone tell me what could be the possible cause of this behaviour difference. I am attaching saved parameters but If more data is needed, please let me know.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,
ctrlX DRIVES and HCS are similar but not identical. There are som differences expecially in the power no/off procedures:
I don't remember the parameters and i am not a super expert of drives but, what is the goal?

Have a look to this How-To https://developer.community.boschrexroth.com/t5/Store-and-How-to/Commission-analog-interface/ba-p/51...
as now use of P-0-4028 only makes sense for analog profile driven ctrlX drive devices.

First of all, I would like to thank to both of you for the answers. All the information you gave me is quiet usefull for several common operations as analaog control or field bus management. The origial question was focused for a more simple test funtion. In the past I could start a primary operation mode enabling drive with P-0-4028 parameter bit 15. This seems not to be possible anymore so, is there any way to enable a drive (AB to AF) without using any wire or phisical cable connected to I/O ports. I mean just using any digital hand write parameter editor (via ctrlX engineering or Indraworks DS). I hope everything is clear now but if not, just continue asking. I guess what i would like to do should be possible in some way.
PD: Easy start up is a really nice tool but I cannot test a real opeartion mode funtion.

It is as well possible to use the main and the secondary operation modes in "Easy Startup Mode". Set Bit 12 in P-0-0120 to "0". Then you can select the normal operation modes via bits 11, 9 and 8 in P-0-0120.
