Error E2092 to Fault F4002

Error E2092 to Fault F4002

Hi, please may I have some advice to solve this?

Using this hardware and communication settings

While in OM mode I get the Error E2029, which eventually triggers a F4002 fault. The documentation says the IPOSYNC bit needs to be toggled (BIT10 S-0-0134). Our attempt to fix this was to toggle this in the code (TwinCAT) using this command :

We can see the bit toggling successfully, but still we get E2092 leading to F4002. How can we fix this?

Thank you.

Hello, I need to follow up if there has been any level of progress on this enquiry?

Thank you.

Please address to your local, technical support team of Bosch Rexroth: You have to do Wireshark measurements when the warning E2092 and lateron the error F4002 shows up.
What control system are you using anyway? Normally this control system should give additional hints for proper diagnosis.

Hello Emielle,

Please check the DC settings in TwinCat.
Beckhoff has implemented a useful function for this.
The following example leads to E2092 in CtrlX-Drive
NC Cycle Time 1ms & SYNC Shift Time 10%
Solution: SYNC Shift Time 20%

TwinCAT - Master

Hello,

We have tried 20% SYNC shift time and now 30%, however the E2092 error persists at 1ms cycle time. Working normally at 2ms cycle time.

The PLC being used is a Beckhoff CX8190. Do you know of a solution on this product? Alternatively is the ctrlX_CORE confirmed to funtion on 1ms cycletime with ctrlX_Drive?

Hello,

with ctrlX CORE X5 and X7 you can use 1 ms cycle time with ctrlX MOTION to ctrlX DRIVE.

Best regards, Michael
