X7 OS not updating, system will now not boot

USB 2.0, GPT formatted, Fat 32, 32 GB usb deivce used.

Tried to go from 1.2->2.4

The log during the update says

open /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/serial-number : no such file or directory

no lockout authorization found

ERROR

encrypted but no tmp-lockout-auth preset. reboot inot system, deviceadmin copies tpm-lockout-auth

When I remove the USB it gets to a point booting where it asks for the revocery key for the disk and then after some time reboots, and is stuck in this boot loop
