Is it possible to use the USB-C port from the application on the core? I would like to use this to read write data to a USB device.

It is planned to have it via PLC and own apps available in the release RM21.07 (Version 1.10.x) of our system.

@CodeShepherd , is there an update to this? I see that the USB and SD card can be mounted, can it also be accessed from PLC application?

Like mentioned above this feature was already implemented.
You can find some information in the how to area for using libusb in your own snap.
