There are multiple references on this site to the HiveMQ MQTT program which one should be able to install on the Core. When I search for it in the app store nothign shows up. How do I add it to my core?
Thanks.

Hi!
The HiveMQ app is currently under development and in validation. It is part of the App Zone (ctrlX Store) as annoucement. You can see there released apps when you see the Bosch Rexroth material number, type code and different licences visible in the app description. WebIQ from Smart HMI is available this way.
More apps from the App Zone will follow over the course of the next weeks. We will add CODESYS add-ons until beginning of September, e.g. their IIoT lib which contains also MQTT client. Bosch Conncted Industry Nexeed Virtual Assist is the next bigger app to be released beginning of September 21.
Some of the apps are availble as internal versions for testing. Contact your Rexroth contact if you are interested.
Best regards,
Michael

Hello and thank you for the reply!
Just to clarify, there is no way to communicate with the datalayer via MQTT right now? I understand the Node Red app uses MQTT, but there is currently no way to make the ctrtlX Core either a broker/server or an MQTT subscriber?

The mosquitto snap works on the core. https://snapcraft.io/mosquitto
You can read/write from the data layer with Node-Red and you can read/write to a MQTT server with Node-Red.
