Hi,
Is it possible to have dhcpd server running in CtrlX CORE serving external network clients?
I'm implementing a stand-alone test/measurement equipment, not part of automation system. I have static and dynamic IP address in use. For technically nonsavvy person, it would be convenient if user can just plug ethernet cable from PC to the CORE and get it working without need to understand network settings.
Currently, either external router w/ dhcp server is needed, or user must be capable of configuring static IP settings for the computer in use.

Using ctrlX CORE as a DHCP server makes quite less sense in industrial automation, where it is supposed to be. You can crash your whole machine/company network with this, that's why we do not support this feature.
But via IPv6 the control is always reachable independent how IPv4 is set up. The UPNP service is used for that:
