thanks for help

Hey Jochen,
Thank you for your first answers. Just to give a response to your questions: Backup&Restore was always with same firmware release on both Cores, behaviour was as well, if I try to restore on the same device as I created the backup.
I tried to restore an X3 backup on another X3
Backup of X3 on the same X3
Backup of X7 on the same X7
always the same behaviour.
Let me know, if you need further information

First results (investigation still ongoing)
The problem seems to be the big size of the backup file (>1GB) and not the backup/restore function itself. Please make following test. Create two backups
It will be nice if you can give me a feedback if this (bad) workaround works.
Regards
Jochen

both backups worked
