Automatically restore from USB

Can a core be configured or commanded to automatcially update a controller from USB? The use case would be a field core that needs a plc program update, could this be achieved with USB automatically or thorugh some http requests?

Hello Alex

currently we are working on a new function named "Setup". With this function it is possible to

• load complete core data back to the control
• updating single apps / app data (like an PLC program)
• can be done via PC or from a SD-card/USB-stick, ...
• It is also planned to have a kind of auto-Start. Means you insert the SD-card, switch on th CORE and it start to load....

The first itteration will come with the RM22.03. The most features should be available end of the year.
