Introduction

This video shows how to use the InfluxDB time-series database and visualization app on ctrlX CORE.

You will learn how to:

• Install and setup the InfluxDB app
• Route Data Layer to InfluxDB with Node Red
• Route Data Layer to InfluxDB with Telegraf
• View current and historical data
• Make a simple dashboard
• Configure threshold monitoring alerts
• Configure notifications to Slack
  
  

Prerequisites

• ctrlX CORE with system image 1.18 or higher
• InfluxDB app version 1.18 or higher
• Node-RED app version 1.18 or higher
• Telegraf app version 1.18 or higher
• Trial or permanent licenses for apps listed above
• Familiarity with connecting to and setting up a ctrlX CORE
