In order to not use SMO function in case the hardware "M5" option is present, one has to deactivate SMO function and functionally enable the drive. This is not normal. But depends on the parameterization. Please provide the parameter settings in format "all parameters" to your contact support person at Bosch Rexroth that we can have a detailed look on what is going on. This public forum may be not suitable to show all you parameter settings to everybody.

When starting the install routine of ctrlX WORKS you can decide if you want to do a parallel installation or an update of the older one. So both is possible. As your ctrlX CORE as well as your PC software should have the actual release I recommend an update. When opening a program in CtrlX PLC Engineering that was written in an older version, it asks you if the targets and libraries should get updated. Also here I recommend to do that.

As you can see in the version number "1.16.x.x", it is part of the similar labled prototype version of ctrlX PLC Engineering coming as part of ctrlX WORKS. Please see the FAQ for ctrlX WORKS how to get it.

Hello, this should work. (with an XLI, but i think there is one in your setup on the left side) But you have either to configure the XVR to charge the DC-bus when coming to OM or to control the DC-Bus by PLC.
