I am developing a software tool using EAL Oscilloscope trending function, and successfully get the trending data with a HMC divice. but after some time, the connection will be disconnected automatically, and the re-connect function is failed with the message "ping execution is failed" If I close and restart the software, everything will be OK again. hope someone can help me out. thanks

I am developing a tool using the SIS protocol to communicate with the EFC5610 series device to implement the parameter configuration, most work already done, now I would like to import and export the parameters to *.par file, which is the same function as Indraworks DS, but I don't know how to implement this feature. the SIS document is quite simple and a little difficult to understand, I don't know the colleague who are responsible for this protocol or anyone familiar with this protocol, could anyone give me some help? many thanks in advance.

hi, sorry for the late response. 1. I am using EAL(2.2.0), today I try to upgrade to 2.3, then I can only search device but cannot connect successfully. 2. I try to implement the automatic trigger mode according to the EAL document, when I come to the step of setting the trigger mode, ealConnection.Oscilloscope.Trigger.Type = TriggerType.AutomaticTrigger; but still failed with the error "Parameter: P-0-0026: Invalid operation data" 3. as for manual trigger, still come with the same error as point 2 when I try to set the trigger type ealConnection.Oscilloscope.Trigger.Type = TriggerType.ManualTrigger; then, I try to raise the trigger after start oscilloscope, as // Raise manual trigger
ealConnection.Oscilloscope.RaiseTrigger(); but failed with the message "EAL.Exceptions.NotSupportedEALException: 'Axis:0 Parameter:P-0-0136 : IDN not supported'", and it seems that the parameter P-0-0136 doesn't exist in the device attached is the par file of my device, thanks in advance

thanks to the colleagues from XiP. according to the advice from colleague, I checked the drive help of INDRV*-MPx-20VRS from Indraworks, and searched the key word of 'Oscilloscope' and found all the parameter description which will be used in the oscilloscope development. then I got the real parameter list from XiP colleague, then everything seems to be easy. also, I attached the file here for reference.

hello, colleagues I try to implement an easy configuration tool for EFC5610 for Chinese customers using the Mini USB port, and I find the SIS communication protocol, though the document is very old, I test it, it works fine to read and write parameter. but now, I would like to implement the oscilloscope feature, e.g. trending mode and trigger mode, just like the Indraworks DS, but in the previous document, I cannot fine any introduction for this. From my point of view, the sampling rate is as fast as 1 ms for trending mode, so I have to read one packet of data samples one time, in my experience with EAL, it is quite simple to implement oscilloscope feature according to the SDK document. but in this case, I cannot use the Ethernet port, so I don't know how to deal with this oscilloscope feature ? could any colleagues give me some suggestions? many thx
