There are two possible views in the ctrlX PLC Engineering and it is depending which one is active on your side. In "DataLayer view" it is sorted alpha numeric and in "I/O view" like in the ctrlX IO Engineering.

Hello,
the 24V power terminal and the GND terminals are not EtherCAT devices. These do not need to be configured. The light pipe does not turn green. In future, a black light pipe will also be installed there!
