Analog I/O Module not recognized

Hi,

I am using the ctrlX Core X3 and the XB-EC 12 EtherCAT Master. Connecting digital I/O modules was no problem. But when I want to connect analog inputs (XI312204 or XI342204), I/O engineering only finds "unknown devices" and analog inputs are not listed. Is there any workaround or are ESI-files required? If yes, where can I find them?

What are we supposed to do with the .xml file for analog card ? Are we supposed to import it into the IO software and so how do I do that ?

Yes, import it in ctrlX IO Engineering. See an example:
