It highly recommended to setup the Watchdogs for any task configured. Have a look to the online help if needed.  Consider a programming mistakes (e.g. endless-loop) captures the cpu endlessly..., the PLC-runtime will collapse and block somehow. With the activated WD the runtime detects the malfunction and generates a WD exception at the ctrlX-diagnosis system. Otherwise without WD the whole system gets effected and even the diagnosis will not be fed anymore. Hello Hendri, I am not aware of the components which are present under the mentioned R-number, but assume: - the ctrlX Version 2107 should be able to be installed on the ctrlX hw. - the XMS drive part is a 1st generation device... please check with ctrlX DS DriveEngineering for the TypeText of the drive ... XMS1... (instead of XMS2). If so - the FW Update to 03Vx should stop during the process-start and the choosen 03Vx FWversion is going to be denied. It is supposed to update XMS1 device with FWA AXS02V10 (also available in the collaboration room). -> Open Drive Eng. and check the typeplate. -> if XMS1 is present try to update to FW02V10.
