Same problem happened on me. If the device in IO Engineering have two nodes(Parrent Node and SubNode, because of Device Description File?), then after you add the node in PLC Engineering, then you can't add axis for using softmotion. I think this problem only happened on softmotion CoE. https://developer.community.boschrexroth.com/t5/CODESYS-PLC-Add-ons/How-to-add-a-Panasonic-Axis-to-Softmotion-in-our-PLC-Engineering/m-p/84130#M536 By the way, when I using Panasonic Drive, I can delete the sub node in IO Engineering and then download, then only the parrent node could been added to the PLC Engineering side, then you can add the softmotion CoE axis successfully. Rexroth AM Drives also have this problem when using softmotion CoE. However, you can't delete the subnode for AM Drives in IO Engineering side,don't know why. Softmotion: do not matter which version it is, at least from 12 to 15 all have this issue. Softmotion Adaption: V 1.20.3 and V 1.20.4 all have this problem ctrlX Works: from 1.20 to 2.04 all have this problem, I think the previous version will also have this issue.

So, I can try switch to a new port use command "<"Installation path"> ctrlX-PLC-Engineering.exe --webserver- port="9016", when this error happened? Not sure it is this problem or not because I start the PLC Engineering when PC just start up, and restart PC could solve this problem. I did't got this problem today, I will have a try if I got this problem again and post the feedback here. Thank you!

Do not know why but my IO/PLC Engineering all have this problems and can't start up correctly. This error will not happen every time, but highly possible when I just start my PC and first time run ctrlX Works. If this happend and I wait for a while, this error is still exsist. The only solution for me is to reboot the PC. What will cause this problem and how can I solve it? ctrlX Works: 2.4.1 PLC Engineering: 2.4.1 IO Engineering: 2.4.1

The add-on installer could install package again with out any changes, just after a holiday and when I try to install it again, the package could install successfully. Don't know why. May be a reboot of computer is required by that time?

I just installed ctrlX Works 1.20.8, when I want to install add-ons through Add-on Installer, all the packages will fail to install with the error below: There are two ways to install add-ons in the previes version, when you click Add-on installer in Tools, a Windows warning will tell you Add-on Installer will boot and if you click yes , add-on installer will load and if you click no the previes installer will load. But now, seems only the new installer is available because when you click on Add-on Installer, there is no Windows warning untill you select a package to install it. So how could I install package now or this is a bug that need to fix?
