SMMC F1602 error

Hello,

i'm trying to connect 2 SAFEX C15 through SMMC but F1602 error occurs:

I loaded two C15s as masters and set the serial numbers. When I send the configuration, the error occurs. 

How can I solve? Thank you,

Hello @davifas ,

your SAFEX-C.15 does not provide SMMC functionality yet. This is the message out of that cryptic Fatal Error. The Engineering selects a functionality that is not active in the device (General Flags, projected device matches with the connected one) you have.

The good message is, that software functionality can be updated in every device to the most recent version. But some features depend on hardware.

Please check your type plate and "System Info" for the HW-Version and the FW-Version.

• SMMC is only provided with FW-Version 1.0.1.19 and above.
• SMMC-over-Ethernet (UDP, Eth2 interface) needs HW-Version 5 due to the licensing PROM of the stack at Eth2.
• SMMC-over-EtherCAT (IO-Slot of EtherCAT (Eth1) to connect via EtherCAT-Master 1, Standard Ethernet to EtherCAT-Master 2 and second SAFEX-C.1x) is depending only on FW-Version 1.0.1.19 and above.
