Access ctrlX IO as a BYTE

I am mapping digital IO into ctrlX PLC using ctrlX IO. Is there a way to allocate a BYTE to a basic Input or output module? The screenshot below shows the mapping of a 16 digital input card XI110116. It only shows %IX*.* addresses. 

In MLC/MLD we have the $IX*.* but also an address *IB**

This is a difference between the S20 and the ctrlX IO modules. But you can still use in the declaration "bByte AT %IB2 : BYTE" or "xWord AT %IW : WORD" and so on on an address to access the data as a whole.
