axis interface error 16#8001000B

I have a problem with my motion:

i can start it with a simple script. but after some time(is seems that the time is random but within 15 minutes) it stops with the error 16#8001000B.

information about the application: 

2 endless axis coupled with a chain-gear between them.

Torque limits are sent over ethercad on parameter S-0082 and S-0083 for both axis.

1 axis lagless position control in drive, with max pos torque is set by plc and movevel command with a setpoint for the rotation speed.

the other axis will to want "brake" the first axis. lagless positioning mode in drive, modevel in plc command, max neg torque is given from PID-controller in plc to make a "brake"load. rotation speed is set low.  

i already tested velocity mode in the drive for the  "brake"axis. but the error is still comming.

i made comments from the 'DemoAxisCommands' and 'DemoBufferedAxisCommands'.

the error can come on both axis. 

i can run the axis in position mode and jogging from the motion-interface. commisioning at velocity mode at the motion interface is not possible. 

What will be the cause are how can i investigate the cause? 

is it a reaction from the drive are is it an PLC control thing?

• add a system report (see how to):
  • installed apps
  • main and detail diagnostic code -> logbook export in error case (EtherCat and motion traces could be switched on before)
• which PLC library/functions are used

i discover that by opening the "drive engineering" the error 8001000B comes up on my axis. 

when i closed and restart my application, it runs the night long, at morning i open drive engineering and the error 80001000B came back. 

in this test i only used the virtual axis for testing.

The error description you found correct in the online documentation chapter "Error codes of the CXA_Table for the CXA_Datalayer". It seems that an unallowed state is reached.

Are you opening ctrlX DRIVE Engineering or ctrlX PLC Engineering as only virtual axis are used, first one has no interaction with the ctrlX MOTION. Does the error occur while opening the tool or while logging in? I cannot find the error in the logbook you sent, so do not see what happens. Could you have a look to the PLC log to check if something is mentioned there?

As all the app versions used are all early adopter ones (1.18) and not longer supported could you please do a test with the official release 1.20 available via the ctrlX Store and collaboration room?
