Cam Cubic interpolation

I notice that the cam profile has a linear cam when above 100 points. I need a cubic spline for my cam points with ~512 points. 

How can this be achieved? Is cubic spline for larger data sets in the works?

Thats the same behaviour as the MLC, as far is I know the only way is to do it in the plc using ML_AxsCyclicSetPoint / MB_CyclicSetPoint

@AndreasL, that is what I did in MLC but thought that large cubic spline cams was in development. Do you know if that is the case?

The cubic interpolation for cams >100 we discuss already with the development department. Because of

• more urgent BugFixes/Features
• same behavior like in the MLC (and here I'm not aware of any complains)

we haven't put much pressure on this. I interpret your request, that there are some needs to have the cubic spline interpolation also with cams more than 100 points. So I will discuss this request with my colleagues....
